That question depends on what I study. If I find the subject boring I often feel unmotivated and unwilling to work as hard; but if the subject seems fascinating, I can sustain any diligence throughout the whole day.

Definitely: I'm going for a week back to Hungary! It turned out that I'll miss a little exam that I'll have to do in June then (and if I dont pass it in June it will ruin my plans a bit) and that I ciuld have started working next week but in both cases I was told at the last moment so I had planned already...

Question - (it might have been asked already, it doesnt sound so original): if you could time-travel, where, or rather WHEN would you go?

I would go to the mid-to-late 1800s and live to the early 1900s, travelling around England, conversing with the great authors of the time, and wander to Eastern America, conversing with the trascendentalists, and experience the travel west, pre-Industrial revolution.

I could only use the time machine once? Hmmm... some time to the future to get a time machine that works more than once and then travel the earth from dinosaurs to present day. I'm not too picky ;). But I think I'd spend a lot of time in America on a ranch with a lot of horses... or gothic Europe (England probably... maybe France, they have gorgeous horses)... with lots of horses... did I mention I liked horses?

Forum member, Psyche, has defined herself as an artistic muse for some time, my older brother has had a great amount of inspiration on me in terms of maintaining optimism, and my parents - my father, a very humble, gentle man, and my mother, an always-involved-in-something, making progress person.

At the moment it is "Luigeluulinn" which means Swanbonecity when translating directly, but in estonian, there is the lovely assonance with all those l-s. A poetry book by Kristiina Ehin bears that name, and it's a good poetry book

I sometimes have difficulty comprehending assonance unless read aloud; with those two choices, I often prefer, but only with the right poets, who use the technique well, end-line rhyme. I also love many other poeticisms, while attempting being as eclectic as possible, such as alliteration, onomanopoeia, and use of both concrete and abstract nouns.

My worst instructor I had recently, within the year. A strict nursing professor, I had her for my clinicals (where students see patients in a health-care setting for tasks we have studied). A number of students had trouble with her, and, I remember, on the first day she accused me of making a medication overdose on a client who showed no symptoms; well, the certain medication being oral, I noticed the pharmacy date, and counted the number of pills that should have remained.
I was correct, had not "overdosed" my patient, and professionally pointed out her error and misinterpretation. Well, she took it very personally, and threatened kicking me out of my nursing program.

I cannot possibly narrow down my favorite band, being a fan of multiple genres, let alone a favorite song, but a few favorites (non-classical): Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, REM, Travis, Coldplay, Björk, Fiona Apple, Mono (ironic, eh?), and, for very special reasons, the whole album of Hold On Love by Azure Ray.;)

Though I know I this response requires becoming another gender, I would choose Pallas Athena (Roman: Minerva), the goddess of wisdom, warfare, and "useful" arts, owning the city of Athens, Greece, having the equal wisdom, if not more, of Zeus, residing on Mount Olympus, and being admired by nearly all.

Hmm, being a slight skeptic regarding just about everything, I do believe in a form of reincarnation, something resembling the Pythagorean idea of the transmigration of souls, though I also *question* the Buddhist belief that, once a being reaches enlightment, s/he becomes devoid of reincarnation.
Firstly, I do believe in the mind-body dichotomy, and figure that they persist as nearly opposites, one being material, the other immaterial, and one being finite, the other . . . hmm . . . possibly infinite, which further directs me toward William James' theory of the connection of souls. I would like to think that all souls connect themselves with each other, and contribute to a unity of life, cycling in a life-death refrain, and do not necessarily need proof; but I suppose some things require more faith and intuition than logic and reasoning.

We are not very sure how it is called, but We believe that the term "warmthe death" might be understandable.
It is the point of when all the matter has spreaded homogenously over the universe. Entropy triumphs.
We do not remember how much time it takes, but it was something like 10 on verymanyth grade years.

When you were condemned to prison and could have only one drink or food that you could eat for say a year, what would that be? You could pick only one drink/food.
It's a sort of a trick question for one would probably die into thirst when one'd take a food or into malnutrition is one'd take a drink.
But there are some ways out.

nope,here on the island of ice and snow we have storms sometimes but nothing bad. well rooftops sometimes blow off the houses and cars fly through the air but rarely any lifes lost. we have volcanos and whole towns have been buried under snow.

Love love love snow! But we only get it a few times a year here and it's usually heavy and wet and fleeting. Watching snow fall, the whole world becomes quiet, very inspiring to stare and do nothing.

Well, I cannot claim them as my favorite band of all time (I cannot even determine that myself), but I would probably want to see a band who will never exist again with all of the original members. With that in mind, I would see Led Zeppelin one of my favorite venues in my city (Portland, Oregon) - either the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall or the Crystal Ballroom. As for a first song, if I chose something soft: "Ten Years Gone;" for something harder: "Rock 'n Roll" or "Kashmir."

I would open the smallest wrapped package I could find.
After unravelling it, I find an old, nostalgic key, colored with the rust of nickel and iron, looking like an ancient skeleton key with two inserts for the fingers on its holding end. Where the key goes, I have no idea, but hopefully somewhere pleasant.

I had a relatively long dream last night. At night I wandered into someone's home - someone I knew I knew, but do not know in actual life. The house had no light, entirely dark, except one room I entered, which seemed cluttered with a wooden workbench with tools, a locked door leading elsewhere, a clean, small, and very round bathtub containing no water, and a dim light.
After that, I left the room, into what seemed a living room; a middle-aged woman of African descent slept peacefully on a couch, and I proceeded down hard, wooden stairs to a very dark hallway with multiple doors leading into other rooms. I heard yelling in one of the rooms, but I did not know which, and I thought I recognized the voice as the person I allegedly knew. Before I found the door, for which I searched, the dream ended.

Last night, I dreamed I was at a Suzuki workshop somewhere that had a beach with palmtrees...possibly Hawaii, I can't tell you that. Anyway, in the morning, they had cello tutorials. Now, I don't play the cello, but if I could play another instrument along with violin and piano, I'd like to learn it. So I thought, now's my chance. The tutorial was on the beach. There was this large group of cellists sitting on stools in the sand, their cellos between their legs. A teacher I know was going to give the tutorial. I was talking to this little boy, could have been one of the ones that goes to orchestra on Saturdays, and then I decided I wouldn't try the cello that morning anyway. Apparently they went for a swim in the ocean after the lesson, which seemed necessary, and I didn't want to be all wet and sandy for my violin tutorials in the afternoon, so I just watched. :confused:

From living together in harmony without considering religion, suddenly the place is split up and everyone is killing eachother. the author is really graphic and detailed about the massacre... strange book...

Moscow University! It has 600 and something buildings. The campus is more than 250 hectars and on "Lenin Hills" ( I think that's the name), there is a HUGE skyscraper, I don't know the name of it, but you'll see it right away. It's absolutely not necessary to speak Russian, there are people from every country you could think of with a translator at your disposal.
Moss? I have moss on my house, the outside walls, too much rain here. Mold is a big issue too, second only to England, I think, but don't quote me. Use sand in your yard in the spring mixed with lime. Moss is high in cellulose, so anything that kills cellulose would be brilliant. Babble babble babble.

My neighbour, who is quite elderly, rolled off her bed this morning and couldn't get up. (that isn't the part where I laughed)
She called me to come over and help and I was worried, thinking stroke or broken hip. When I got there, she'd fallen onto her shag carpet and her earring had hooked into the rug, she couldn't undo it, so she was stuck. It took me a while to stop laughing with her. She's all of 4' 10", and she makes me laugh every time I talk to her.

I should not type what I said, but this occurred while in high school. I stood in front of a whole class, giving a presentation, and an acquaintance of mine mentioned something very embarrassing about me, regarding a recent event, and I could not but assent without words. My acquaintance, whom I had never liked, to tell honestly, reacted with his usual devilish smile, and the whole class, including my instructor, laughed for several minutes, and throughout the class time. Needless to say, they taunted me about it throughout the school year. :blush:

Besides the backs of my eyelids, it depends on where I sleep - if at my own apartment: usually either my cats who cuddle with me, or my clock; if at Psyche's apartment: Psyche, herself, or the pillow.

I usually wake up at around 6 o'clock... I try not to wake up any earlier than that and when I sleep in, I get to sleep till 8.30 am mostly...

I loved those! Unfortunately, during my last move, I lost my poetry magnets; but, while I lived in a particular house, on one side of the refrigerator stuck the poetry words, and on the other side stuck my roommates' "sex and intimacy" words. Needless to say, when they mixed, periodically, it sounded like very explicitly suggestive poetry.
I cannot remember many works I compiled, but I recall trying to create the most alliterative construction with the letter 's.'

Spot on! When I use garlic, I usually use three cloves. Love it! I stink of it a fair bit of the time, but so does my girlfriend - so what, it smells good!

I'm back again - just trying out an avatar I made on some site; bit scary think I'll drop it! Saddest - hmmm! I used to get mad rather than sad when I was younger, and I've had no troughs for a long tiime, so it's difficult. I was maddest when I was young, skint, eating little, indulging lots, and devoid of any real love. Come to think of it I was pretty sad!

I watch very few regular television shows, but nothing tops Jeopardy! which I try watching frequently; otherwise, I enjoy the late shows with David Letterman, Jay Leno, and Conan O'Brian.

My life is completely structured now, with exact repetious schedules and hours and tasks....And I'm beginning to be afraid to act randomly, which I usssualy did back in colllege...doing something without planning is heaven!!!
