Very, very badly, and it always comes out as doggerel verse. I realised a long time ago that, as with prose, I can't do the serious stuff.

I'd say my dad, but even he has flaws. Guess he could be my tragic hero, eh? I don't think I have one yet. Give me a few years, maybe I'll meet or read about someone spectacular (in my little opinion).

I try and find the funny in just about anything, which may well be considered shallow, but it's a sight better than taking life too seriously, never mind that various people pay me for it! Thos who get in to deep analysis and being terribly learned about things never seem to be happy people.

Yes very much.

Yes, I have two daughters from my first marriage,(33 and 28) and two stepsons from my wife's. (Her husband died very young). However, both the lads are more like very close friends.

Nope I have none, but I love kids.

Yes - eclectic mix. Led Zeppelin, The Who, Welsh Folk music, Bagpipes, Beethove, Mozart, Mussorgsky, Elgar, Dvorak in particular.

Can't choose one... I like pretty much everything....but Country. Even then there are few exceptions...

I can listen to just about anything except Country (hmmmm) or Motown. My favourite band would have to be Jethro Tull.

Oh jeeze.... according to my play count on my itunes my favorite band is Rise Against... but I don't have one. Lke I said, there are too many that I like.

Are you watching the Spain/Germany game?

No thanks - I'd rather watch paint dry. Strange to relate, I've never, ever played Association football in my life, and since I don't even begin to understand it (or the hype that goes with it) I can't be bothered. I prefer different sports.

What is your favourite sport (assuming that the above hasn't caused immeasurable upset!)

Haaaa, that would be futbol.... or football...or soccer. Whatever. Spain won, although you probably don't care :] . I'm happy about it. You do not offend. There are sports I can't stand, like golf, tennis, wrestling...

I was brought up with Rugby Union, which is a form of organised violence whereby the players try to kill each other for 90 minutes, then kill each other with kindness thereafter in the bar. I played for best part of 25 years. Also, cricket, once described as organised loafing.

Well I live in California/Surrey so.... I've got the best of both worlds. I'm quite content with my current homes.

I don't really have one - I can read just about anything except Westerns.

I liked Firefly.... which is a space western.... which sounds horrible.... (this was a television program though)
