Summary Chp. 30

It was a little while before Lockwood came when Linton died. No one else in Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange was really affected but Cathy.

In his will, Linton bequeathed everything to his father, or thats what Heathcliff told Cathy. Cathy didnt really care about not inheriting any of the wealth. Only afterwards, she turned into a very disagreeable person, as according to Zillah. Zillah doesnt like her, as Mrs. Dean doesnt like Zillah.

Hareton began to show some interest in Cathy and tried hard to please her, but she never seems to recognize whatever good deeds he did.

Mrs. Deans story ends here. Lockwood plans to go to Wuthering Heights to inform Heathcliff his stay at Thrushcross Grange may be cut six months short because hes going to London.
