Why wouldn't I take along a gaggle of geese to distract the armed guards and a can of cheeze whiz to muffle the yells of the receptionist? :D

Also, wouldn't a lock picking device be handy?

Madhuri
10-13-2006, 03:16 PM
 that's a good plan :thumbs_up

Do I get to be a part of this plan? What will be my role?

Wait a minute....Why do you want to rob a jewelery store?

ShoutGrace

Do I get to be a part of this plan? What will be my role?

Would you mind being the gorgeous female on the sidewalk out front, doing belly dances to distract the pedestrians away from all the chaos inside the store? :D

Wait a minute....Why do you want to rob a jewelery store?

Is it too cliche to say that I heard that girls like pearls, and, well, you know . . . . ?

Madhuri
10-13-2006, 03:23 PM
Was not my role to wear those pearls?

Will it be rude if I say I QUIT, because the pearls are not for me? Why do you think I would want to be a part of the plan in the first place?

ShoutGrace
10-13-2006, 03:25 PM
How do you know the pearls are not for you? Are you not jumping to conclusions?

Don't you care enough about me to help me in this illegal enterprise?

Madhuri
10-13-2006, 03:29 PM
If I say I am very selfish and care about me and my pearls ONLY? Why would I care about anything except the beautiful pearls?

ShoutGrace
10-13-2006, 03:35 PM
Why should I risk my life and freedom getting pearls for a person who doesn't even care for me?

Madhuri
10-13-2006, 03:45 PM
Ah, so thats what it is. Do you think I cant rob a jewelery store on my own?

ShoutGrace
10-13-2006, 03:48 PM
Did I ever say that? Are you saying you want to be the person inside the store, wielding a can of cheeze whiz?

kathycf
10-13-2006, 05:20 PM
But isn't stealing wrong?
Could we not apply for a wholesale license and simply buy the pearls at cost?

kathycf
10-13-2006, 05:21 PM
Wait...Cheez Whiz? Why for Cheez Whiz?

ShoutGrace
10-13-2006, 11:22 PM
Isn't Cheeze Whiz the best possible muffling agent? Can a jewelry store receptionist call for help when she has a mouth full of Cheeze Whiz? :D

Shalot
10-13-2006, 11:39 PM
Why does the jewelry store receptionist have to be a she? Do you assume that men are superior to women? Do you assume that only a woman would take a piddly little receptionist job in a jewelry store? And do you asusme that only women wear jewelry?

ShoutGrace
10-13-2006, 11:48 PM
Why does the jewelry store receptionist have to be a she? Do you assume that men are superior to women? Do you assume that only a woman would take a piddly little receptionist job in a jewelry store? And do you asusme that only women wear jewelry?

Is it not you is assuming many things about me?

Does this jewelry store even exist? Isn’t it rather a possible world that I have created merely for the purpose of providing an alternative avenue for those who wish to procure pearls? Or those who are morally opposed to the uncomfortably disingenuous designation “pearl diver”?

kathycf
10-14-2006, 12:43 AM
Is there not an old saying that says something along the lines of:
'"when you assume, you make an a#s out of you and me" (U and ME)? :)
By the way, isn't forcing Cheez Whiz on an individual regardless of their sex simply too cruel? :D

Madhuri
10-14-2006, 06:29 AM
Is cheez Whiz of no other use? Cant we use something else to muffle her yells? Why dont we use chloroform? Are we going to take only pearls from the store? What about diamonds?

Pendragon

I suppose that-that-coffee hovel you have over in that run down disheveled shop front is considered superior, because it has "a woman's touch?" Really, dear child, I would have thought that your parents would absolutely cringe to know how audacious you are to thus slander a group of Gentlemen don't you know? Try, friend Bookworm? I've tried, aye, my whole life, would that we came equipped with rewind and erase buttons, they would come in handy sometimes, wouldn't they? But ‘tis chasing a moonbeam though the cobwebs of a dream: no substance, know what I mean?

ShoutGrace

David, I haven't been on as much because I haven't been feeling very well....although I think I can be on more? I know that isn't really a question, but may I be allowed to just slap a question mark on the end of a sentence every once in a while?

Did you know one of my worst habits as a writer is (*gasp*) run on sentences?

ShoutGrace
11-11-2006, 09:12 PM

By the way, question marks are fine on the end of normal sentences? ;)

Aren't run on sentences called "stream of consciousness" sentences by modern writers?

kathycf

A quickie, just dashed it off. OK?

Why Does Your Perfume Smell So Much Like Turnip Greens?

You know, baby, I've missed you so much, since you left the big city.
Took off for a trip to the country, yeah, come back lookin' so darn pretty.
Now you got a gleam in your eyes, like I've never seen,
Oh yeah, but tell me this, darling,
Just why does your perfume smell so much like turnip greens?

I'm not complaining at all, about your new hairstyle or your complexion.
And it's OK with me, baby, if you've found life take another direction.
And Lord knows I won't say a word about that check shirt or those jeans:
But can you just tell me again,
Why does your perfume smell so much like turnip greens?

Down on the farm, yeah, I can live with that!
Drive the tractor, slop the hogs! Where's my cowboy hat?
We can make quite a pair out there, on the country scene:
But Lord have mercy, girl,
Just why does your perfume smell so much like turnip greens?
Reckon I better get used to the smell of turnip greens!

Bunch of people fooling with things they know nothing about, innit?

BTW, Maddie, Bifrost, The Rainbow Bridge won't work for mere mortals, so how could I be setting a trap for maidens? But I thought I might ought to leave directions, as Dragons are among the eldest, and know the paths. Nine worlds connect through Bifrost and we wouldn't want our fellows ending up burned alive in Suterheim or frozen in the wastes of Nifelheim, now would we? Can you imagine a place so cold that it burns?
