Question: ever heard of the comic strip Tumbleweeds, by T.K. Ryan? One of the Poohawk Indiain Medicine Man's peoms run's thus:
"Tis the problem of the day:
How to send him on his way!
Should we feed him to the ants?
Should we should or should we shan't?
Would he toast best over the coals,
Or spread-eagled on some knoll?
Shall we vote to send him howling,
Via stake or disembowling?
Mercy, such anxiety,
Over a mere fatality?
T.K. Ryan 1967
How do you answer that question?

Latin I am indeed rusty in, to be sure, but I have forgotten verb congugation in French, my second language, so am I really to blame? This is what I come up with after about three minutes:
A day of much wrath, a day for which there has been plenty paid.
Or maybe as I seem to recognize words from an old hymn:
“A day of wrath, for which many shall pay.”
Is that anywhere in the old ballpark, or should I close my Latain note book and creep away?

To Pen: The question was a bit unfaiir since i had to rote-memorize hundreds of lines relative to the catholic mass, the mass of the dead (which dies irae, dies illa is from), high mass, benedictions and ad nauseam. This expression is the first two words of the long prayer of mouning in the mass of the dead....meaning...day of wrath, day of mourning ...and it goes on interminably from there. I played the organ while the rest of the deacons had to sing it in gregorian chant. NOW THAT,S RELIGIOUS OVERLOAD. You were almost right on though. I can't take anymore of this Latin. Where did I get a deamon reference? The answer is laughable, really, but I double-checked with an online dictionary to be certain I was right, and wouldn't you know it was mentioned under one of the definitions of "Alcohol?" (Yes, dear friend, you have been misspelling the word, but so would I wouldout spellcheck!) You see I am a Batman fanatic and one of his mortal enimies is Ra's Al-gul, which we are informed means "The Deamon's Head." Except that the words are backwards, and al-gul is what means "deamon" as I determined years ago. Ra would be "head", the name given to the Head or Cheif God. So Batman's nemesis should be Al-gul's Ra. Simple when you show the cards, eh?

Whenever someone like Amiel Sy (International Math Champion--the guy Gloria mentioned in her previous SONA--my, so many people in my school can make you insecure) asks me that, I always say no, I "luv" him; but who knows? ;)
Indeed! How many books have I read? Hmmm... I've lost track! Quite a lot, I guess. I've been collecting Newbery Medal books since I was seven (actually, my dad has been collecting them for me.:)). How about you? I'm sure you have read the entire Harry Potter series. To be honest, I haven't, but I know about the ending of Book 7 and wasn't really pleased about it. Believe it or not, I NEVER liked the epilogue. It was a crap. It's better if she didn't include it in the seventh book, instead just stick with the Trio under the beech tree.
Wow! I only read a couple of books in my whole life. When I was in elementary, I never liked to read (except the pop-up books, coloring books, short stories). I hate it. But now, it's totally the opposite.

Would BP mind stepping this way please? Why? Did you not read the statement that all statement must be in the form of a question? And did you not break that just two posts ago? Where are we going? You did read the notice, right? Could you chaps please see that BP is locked in Arkham Asylum in the cell between The Joker and The Riddler? Inhumane treatment of whom, BP? May I remind you that it was you who choose to break the rules? What? Did I say I came up with the rule? Why are you complaining to me about enforcing it then? You guys will see that she gets there in time for her supper? Inquest? You do realize a vote must be held on this? Would you gentlemen mind letting her go, it seems we have a rule voting problem? No I won't report you, why should I? Shall we go, BP? http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/AbsalomKane/Smilies/Bubblegum.gif

Now does everyone have a feel for the way that the game is played? Nonsense? Why would you think something like that, may I ask? Could I think of something more exciting? Would you rather play the game where the first to post has to use 4 words, the second 2, the third 5, the 4th 1, and the fifth 3 and see how that goes? No, subject matter is unimportant, you just would have to keep w count straight and try for some sort of order, what say?
