Doesn't the idea of tofu make u want to vomit? Wouldn't just the chocolate frosting on its own without the tofu b better ?

Madhuri
09-10-2006, 12:25 PM
Why dont we have tofu, it sure is healthy? :)

kathycf
09-10-2006, 12:47 PM
Yes, tofu is healthy, but did you know it has a flavor similiar to really stale cardboard?

RobinHood3000
09-10-2006, 01:34 PM
Cardboard gets stale?

09-10-2006, 01:46 PM
Doesn't everyone know that??! :p

Why dont we all join Aimus, he is hosting a dinner for all litnet members, at the Ritz. ;)

AimusSage
09-10-2006, 04:02 PM
I am? Since when? Wasn't it supossed to be just you and me?

serafina
09-10-2006, 05:30 PM
Can newbies join in too?

AimusSage
09-10-2006, 05:31 PM
join in with what?

serafina
09-10-2006, 05:36 PM
Whatever you say? Isn't that the attitude us newbies desperate for your approval should take?

AimusSage
09-10-2006, 05:37 PM
shouldn't newbies just participate in whatever they like whenever they like?

serafina
09-10-2006, 05:44 PM
Are you sure we are allowed? :D

AimusSage
09-10-2006, 05:51 PM
Don't you think I'll have to check first?

kathycf
09-10-2006, 11:43 PM
May I say hello to newbie serafina? :)

May I offer some advice? Did you know you should watch out for AimusSage, because he is quite the interrogator? :brow: :p

( how lucky am I that he is also a good sport? ):D

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 02:08 AM
Dont you think it will be nice if everyone joined? Including the newbies, It will be like a litnet family get together :D
Can you believe I have agreed without even asking why are you interrogating me in the first place? So, when are you sending the invitations? :D

Pendragon
09-11-2006, 10:55 AM
The Ritz? Do you realize how long it takes to get a Knight dressed in formal wear? Do you know that my squire is sobbing right now just thinking about it? And I am a Pendragon, of Royal Lineage, don't you know?

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 11:07 AM
To go for a dinner at the Ritz, I can get ready in 5 mins :D Dont you think that is quite an achievement for a girl?? :D :D I am sure you'll get ready in time Pen. :D

Pendragon
09-11-2006, 11:31 AM
Royalty, my dear Maddie, does not get ready for anything you see the problem? We have to be made ready by overtly fusy valets, who make certain that every detail is just right before they will let us out of the house for the night, you understand? It's ghastly, really, I probably should have taken mother's advice and kept my lineage secret, but, no, I have to open my mouth and now I am a virtual prisioner of my own servants, can you believe that? Do you know that I wish I had left that bloody sword in that stone?

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 11:37 AM
I bow to thee  Do you think Aimus will be willing to give you enough time to get ready for the dinner?? I am sure he would want to make it real royal

Would that be Aimus or myself that runs from these-- FOR THE LAST TIME, NO, I AM NOT GOING TO SHOW UP IN A CLOAK TRIMMED IN SNOW-LEOPARD FUR! BARBARIAN! Excuse me there. Uh, or myself that runs from these parties?

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 11:51 AM
Are you suggesting that we should take one member less that evening??

kathycf
09-11-2006, 12:41 PM
Nope all should come, but I feel we should just dress very casual, don't you think?

Nightshade
09-11-2006, 01:21 PM
Am I invited??

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 01:21 PM
Did I mention that the dinner is on the house? Don't you love it when you know the owner?

Does anyone else think I'm a cheapskate? :D

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 01:33 PM
Casual?? I am not sure, is there a dress code at such fancy places??

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 01:35 PM
Is it irrational of me to demand everyone to come dressed in clothes woven entirely with gold thread?

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 01:38 PM
No absolutely not, we do have our own gold mines and that shan't be any problem. Are there any other rational demands?? :brow:

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 01:44 PM
Can we have a large ball after the dinner, where everyone is required to dance, including Night?

Madhuri
09-11-2006, 01:45 PM
Why ask me??? You are the host. :)

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 01:58 PM
Is the host required to hold a speech?

Shall I plan on attending? When shall this social function take place?

kathycf
09-11-2006, 03:43 PM
Why must we wear clothes woven of gold thread?

Isn't Aimus being incredibly demanding?

Oh wait dinner is free? Ok, fine...shall I pick up my gold dress at the cleaners then?

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 04:21 PM
Do you think I should allow jewelry if it doesn't have at least 20 karats worth of diamonds?

kathycf
09-11-2006, 04:31 PM
20 carats? Don't you think that will be gaudy? :p

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 04:36 PM
What do you say to a masquerade ball instead?

kathycf
09-11-2006, 04:41 PM
Maybe...can I wear a sheet over my head like a ghost instead of a mask?

AimusSage
09-11-2006, 04:46 PM
Do you want to be Caspar or another scarier ghost?

Nightshade
09-11-2006, 04:54 PM

SO I am included then? And dont you already know my opnion on me and dancing?
Is there cheeecake?
Who are you having for security? arent all thesegold dresses a safty risk? and wont they be heavy?
CanT come in a dress of moonshine?
Does any one want ear plugs for aimus's speach?
Are the martain council invited? Do yo have green goo?

Madhuri
09-12-2006, 04:03 AM
Is the dress code mandatory for all?? Will the guys also wear gold thread dress and diamonds??

I am afraid Night everyone will have to dance, :D and if you want we'll close our eyes.

Nightshade
09-12-2006, 04:13 AM
Why would I want that? But why really diamonds with the gold? WOuldnt that weigh everyone down?
Unlesss can I wear white gold?

Maybe we should all come in our traditional attires, what do you say??

subterranean
09-12-2006, 06:04 AM
Why? Not confident enough? ;)

RobinHood3000
09-12-2006, 06:07 AM
Confident about what? Besides, if I were to "accidentally" lose my clothes in the shifting process, wouldn't that make me instantly the center of attention?

Madhuri
09-12-2006, 06:13 AM
Will this 'accident' be a deliberately planned incident?? what some celebrities are used to doing often ;)

Pendragon
09-12-2006, 08:55 AM
Gold, eh? Hold those clothes then, Squire, what say I go in Dragon form? Plenty of gold cloth in the hoard for a cape, and Aimus wants high-quality gems, eh? Hee-Hah! Masquerade ball, I believe? A man who can become a dragon at will is masquerading isn't he?

Madhuri
09-12-2006, 12:15 PM
Why do you have to throw so many tantrums, Pen? You are so fussy

Nightshade
09-12-2006, 12:40 PM

Nightshade

Are you scared that Martian Inc people will take pictures of you while dancing?

Nightshade
09-12-2006, 01:05 PM
Why would I be scared of that? II live in a martian museum dont I? What if I said I wanted to BUY a camera ?

AimusSage
09-12-2006, 01:13 PM
why would you need to buy a camera when any of the tourists visiting the museum would gladly give you theirs in exchange for a picture with you and them?

thevintagepiper
09-12-2006, 01:22 PM
Wouldn't that be beside the point of them taking the picture? Or is that YOUR point?

RJbibliophil
09-12-2006, 02:02 PM
Dancing? What sort of orchestra/ensemble will be playing?

AimusSage
09-12-2006, 02:12 PM
Don't martians have any picture they take with their camera automatically downloaded into their brain?

Didn't I mention the Martian Philharmonic will be in attendance?

Nightshade

Madhuri
09-13-2006, 11:11 AM
Will you be sending reminders to yourself, if you get bored?? Does that count as a fun activity??? Really???

AimusSage
09-13-2006, 11:15 AM
Why not post reminders for all to see? Don't you think others will help you remember? could someone please remind me of the following 'remember to pick your nose' before 8 PM?

Madhuri
09-13-2006, 11:18 AM
Do you want that reminder to be seen by everybody??? You mean everybody  Dont you want some things not to be reminded at all??? like waking up in the morning :D

AimusSage
09-13-2006, 11:18 AM
What wrong with it? Do you think it is to indecent for the youngest members? :)

Madhuri
09-13-2006, 11:21 AM
Are you saying you are the youngest member???!!! *rolling with laughter*

AimusSage
09-13-2006, 11:24 AM

Speaking of reminders, could someone please be so kind and remind me to wake up in the morning? :p

Madhuri
09-13-2006, 11:30 AM
Why dont you ask some of your expert Martian scientists?? Maybe they can help you with the reminders :D

Yes, i'll remind you, only if I am awake :D :D So, will you remind me, to remind you to wake up in the morning??

RJbibliophil
09-13-2006, 05:27 PM
But surely a reminder for Aim's gala ball won't be necessary? Won't he remember? Must I wear my dress of gold thread, or will my gown of fine silver trimmed with diamonds do?

subterranean
09-13-2006, 08:45 PM
Why all this fuss about being glamorous?

kathycf
09-14-2006, 01:02 AM
Shouldn't there be a dress code for a ball as festive as this one?

thevintagepiper
09-14-2006, 03:40 AM
Does that take a little bit of creative originality out of it? Shouldn't we just all decide what we want to wear and since it's a ball, it will probably end up being glamorous anyway, but in our own personal ways? Or should it just be up to the host after all?

Pendragon
09-14-2006, 10:36 AM
Who's fussy? I wasn't the one who planned the party, was I? I am more of a "come as you are" so long as you aren't in the bath or shower, decently dressed don't you know? Probably throw the gala outside as well, somewhere where the water whispers secrets over the rocks and the wind sighs through the leaves of the trees, not in a stuffy room where you have to act so proper, understand? The theme would be "I Gotta Be Me." Everyone could surely relate to that, right? ;)

optimisticnad
09-14-2006, 03:36 PM

Pendragon
09-15-2006, 06:02 PM
Beaming platforms? As in "Beam me up, Scotty"? Heavens man, what a way to travel, spilling a man's molecules all over the place and hoping that they somehow come back together OK at the other bloody end, that kind of thing? Don't you realize that a transporter destroys the original and that the person that arrives at the other end, same memories, looks, whatever, is not the same person!? Why don't you ask Bones McCoy? :brow:

AimusSage
09-15-2006, 08:40 PM

ShoutGrace
09-16-2006, 05:02 AM

If this reality is in fact not the StarTrek one, which one do you think it is?

AimusSage

ShoutGrace
09-16-2006, 05:30 AM

ShoutGrace
09-16-2006, 05:34 AM

AimusSage

AimusSage

ShoutGrace

ShoutGrace

AimusSage
09-16-2006, 06:05 AM
It did? How does that explain the rather large elephant that dropped out of the sky when I pressed it the first time? Could this be the reason the button had 'randomize' inscribed on it?

ShoutGrace
09-16-2006, 06:07 AM
It certainly seems like a valid explanation, does it not?!?

And yet I have to ask, as your response implies it; What happened the second time you pressed the randomize button?

Can I please not tell due to it being somewhat of an embarrasing moment?

ShoutGrace

Was it not obvious that the alleged error in my post, if in fact it is an error, should rightly be indicative of my desire to underhandedly relate to you why things should be kept simple?
