The final test, maybe.

Would you staple all your assignments in the middle of the paper just to annoy your instructor?

BienvenuJDC
04-22-2009, 09:10 PM
No...I don't want to annoy the person who will be grading my paper...

Would you do everything that the instructor asked (even if it meant stapling the paper 1/2" down, 1/2" from the left, keeping the staple exactly parallel to the top of the paper and all the pages in line) to make sure you get a good grade (just imagine that Adrian Monk is your instructor)?

skib
04-22-2009, 11:28 PM
Anything and everything is good deep fried. The alarm clocks would just require a side of roasted pocket watches.

BienvenuJDC
04-23-2009, 12:26 AM
Never...

Would you ever play strip poker?

Stargazer86
04-23-2009, 12:36 AM

Flying ants?? Why on earth would you eat flying ants? Not critisizing...just intensely curious

As for my dreams...I have put them aside and buried them away. Perhaps one day...

What is your biggest dream/goal in life?

Haha, childhood in Indonesia. Once a year, all the flying ants mate, and then they loose their wings and die. So we pick em up, and fry them in a bit of oil on the Wok. Very crispy...

Regarding dreams, I have different dreams for different days. Recently someone said something that made a lot of sense. To have been loved and love in a manner where life without the other, seems insignificant.
On the more practical level, I'd like to be able to say I always did the things I wanted to do. Wether they be live for love, travel the world, or building houses of cow dung in Tanzania.

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 05:00 PM
hmmmm, only if I was really really tired and had no other place to sleep, eg. not voluntarily also, I don't think I'd be able to sleep even if I wanted to, worms tend to crawl around and keep you awake.

Would you stop me from becoming mr. sarcastic?

Would you pick a wedgie in public if you were desperately uncomfortable?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 06:04 PM
all the time, well whenever i have a wedgie, which is extremely rare, but I usually take comfort over decorum in these and similar situations.

Would you give someone a wedgie in public?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 07:36 PM
... Because I lack practice in giving people wedgies, probably not. I doubt I'd be quick enough and end up embarrassing myself first. :/ *sigh*

Would you eat an apple from a forbidden tree if it looked good enough?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 07:42 PM
Why would a tree be forbidden? It's ridiculous and cruel.

answer is also my question.

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 07:44 PM
Sometimes Big People like gods and stuff say trees are forbidden.
But I agree. It's cruel. I love trees.

Would you hug a tree?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 07:50 PM
Only if it isn't inappropriate in its social standing with other trees.

Would you sleep in a tree?

Would you eat a tree?

Would there be anything that could make you give up the most awesome job in the universe?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 08:16 PM
Wuv. Twue wuv.

Would there be anything that could make you give up true love?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 08:18 PM
I don't believe in true love, but if it did exist, I don't think there would be anything that could make me give it up after I found it. It's supposedly the ultimate power in the universe, even more powerful than the force. Imagine the power! Oh, and the love of course. True love... wow, I wonder what it it'll be like...

Would you like to know what true love is like?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 08:21 PM
I would.

Would you say that true love is created and upheld by two stubborn, passionate people or is pre-ordained?

Assuming it exists.

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 08:24 PM
If it exists it is created and upheld by stubborn passionate people. If it were pre-ordained, it wouldn't be love let alone true love. It would just be some arrangement made and serve as an illusion to cloud the reality that true love is in fact a myth without a basis in fact.

Would you say that makes any sense at all?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 08:25 PM
I would say it makes perfect sense.

Would you say that some people think about love too much, or not enough?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 08:31 PM
Yes... on both accounts. They think too much when they need to think less and not enough when they need to think about it more. There is a time and place for love, and knowing when and where is the most difficult thing to master... Or maybe I'm thinking too much about it now... How confusing... :)

Would you believe that winamp keeps playing all these sappy love songs? (It's on full random with all my music, but somehow got stuck on love songs...ugh, I need some loud heavy music now)

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 08:34 PM
You need some Muse.

You know, you're not as confusing as you think you are sometimes. xD!!

Would you believe it if I told you I had a magical playlist?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 08:43 PM
Yes, how is it magical?

Oh, wait, would you please explain why it is magical though?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 08:44 PM
No, you'll laugh. o.o

Do you know how long it takes to create a magical playlist?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 08:46 PM
No, why is it bad if I laugh, isn't laughing a good thing, means it's either funny or magical. :D

Would you tell me how to create a magical play list and why that makes it magical?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 08:57 PM
Laughing isn't always a good thing as straaange as that may sound.

No, I can't tell you how to make one, I'm sorry. But I'll give you a hint: Don't split up your music. Put all of it under ONE giant playlist, and ALWAYS keep it on random play. You must, must have an eclectic taste in music, else all is for naught.

Would you tell me how one goes about becoming royalty?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 09:07 PM
SO that makes my playlist a magical playlist! woohoo!

I was abducted by Martians as a young boy myself, that's how I became their king.

Would it be feasible that magic can be controlled?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 09:13 PM
Young boys being abducted by martians and thrust into monarchy is no basis for a system of government -

Well, it isn't.

No, magic can't be controlled unless it is our own, particular magic. Nor can it be created. There must be source, and the source is a demon living underground in Florida.

Would you say our world is mundane?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 09:17 PM
Yes and no, the world is by itself mundane, but some people succeed in making it interesting for themselves and others by turning the mundane into something interesting, and dare I say it... Magical. :)

Also, yeah, it's no basis for a system of government, it's mostly a ceremonial function really, and I was elected supreme commander of the Martian empire a few years back, re-election is every 4 years, but it's Mars years so they last almost twice as long as earth years.

Wouldn't it make more sense if each continent had its own source of magic?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 09:19 PM
Is magic supposed to make sense? If it doesn't make sense, why should the source of it make much sense either?

Would you say that you're up for re-election?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 09:21 PM
Yeah, Martians love me for some reason, and if I consider flurdup the Fraldol a real competitor, well, never rule him out, he is at least 10 times smarter than me, but he lacks the charisma... :)

Would sense not have any place in a magical world?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 09:24 PM
Sure. By the people that it touches. They should have plenty of sense, to know what to do with it when it's in their hands.

Would you giggle/chuckle at Flurdup behind his back for his unfortunate name?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 09:29 PM
What's so unfortunate about the name? He is from a long line of brilliant scientists from Mars. Maybe it doesn't translate well. Hadn't thought of that...Oh well, no wouldn't chuckly or giggle about his name, now his neurotic tendency to jump up and down every other second while in a speech, that's another matter altogether. :D

Would you say good night to me as I try to get some sleep now that it is way beyond late?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 09:34 PM
I would, if I must! Good night, Aims. Sweet dreams and sleeps.

Would you consider yourself to be the very model of a modern major general?

AimusSage
04-27-2009, 09:42 PM
I'm not much of a modern General, I'm more the classical type, with a big beard and traditional dress uniform who has tea and reads a good book on the eve of a big battle rather than plan the tactics of the battle into infinite detail.

Would you think that I will enjoy dreamland tonight?

a_little_wisp
04-27-2009, 09:45 PM
You sound like a most excellent general.

Well... I certainly hope you enjoy it. Just make sure your pillow's fluffed.

Would you go to bed now so I can read my book? xD (I'm kidding, I'm kidding.)

Would you go bungee jumping?

Would you stop being customer of a chain store because you are against their political commitments?

papayahed
04-29-2009, 06:43 PM
I hate to say it but it depends on how inconvenient it is for me to avoid the store. For example I don't like walmart but every year I get a gift certificate so I have to go in..

Good one, Same question:
Would you stop being customer of a chain store because you are against their political commitments?

Michael T
04-29-2009, 07:03 PM
I took part in a campaign against 'Tesco' supermarkets many years back as part of the local Greenpeace group. It was trying to get them to stop importing Icelandic fish because Iceland was involved in whaling. If that counts, then YES.

Would I have bothered if I wasn’t head-over-heels in love with one of the girls in the group?…hmmm :D

No. I would have to live with it, and it's not worth it.
