( well that is very nice of you)
yes and I have done that before!

Would you do anything to keep the peace with someone you were involved with, even if it was against your principles?

tonywalt
09-17-2012, 01:41 PM
hhm, I would do alot to keep the peace. In retrospect - more. I wouldn't compromise on principles-but that's usually not an everyday thing.

Would you hang out at Litnet if it were a real pub/bar, with the same members, having a drink? - do ya think you would like it?

lilimarlene
09-17-2012, 02:00 PM
I asked a question very similar to that yesterday. Hard to say, I'm very sociable and am able to talk to just about anyone in any social setting, so I would definitely drop by for a drink. Whether I would make it my regular spot or not is hard to say. Do you think everyone here would be as outgoing in real life as they are here?

same Q?

( re: keeping the peace..I agree with you, I wish I had not made such an issue of these types of trivias in the past, but no matter I have learnt from my mistakes and now choose my battles more wisely )

tonywalt
09-17-2012, 02:18 PM
I think there would be enough outgoing people to fill a room. I'd say it's not so much a case that many litnetters are introverts - rather alot of them have interests that are not mainstream - making it hard to relate and are cerebral and deep thinking.

Anyway if you put 50 introverts in a room, they would no longer be introverts-certainly the dynamic would be surprisingly different - I'd say.

So yea, I would hang out here.

Would you live in a very provincial town like say a small town in Iowa?

lilimarlene
09-17-2012, 02:39 PM
no offence to small and provincial, but probably not
(Introverts are by nature inward oriented, they usually find being in social situations for too long draining where an extravert draws energy from being with other people. But I know that introverts hate small talk and like to think deep so maybe a large group of similarly minded people that they can debate with would be perfect. So I hope you find your litnet pub, tonywalt)

same Q.

tonywalt
09-17-2012, 02:56 PM
No.

(It would be hard to find a litnet pub - but close enough).

Would you be very excited (as opposed to supportive) if you had a daugher and she entered a beauty contest?

tonywalt
09-20-2012, 01:02 PM
Good question. I tried very hard - but couldn't do it.

Same Q.

lilimarlene
09-20-2012, 01:42 PM
There would have to be some level of attraction. Having said that there have been a few times I wasn't in the slightest bit interested in someone, they just didn't register on my radar but after getting to know them( they pursued me) that changed. I can make quick judgements sometimes and am not always right, so I might now give someone a chance that I wouldn't before. But at some stage we are going to get intimate and that's not going to happen unless I feel attraction.

Would you be able to have a serious relationship with someone that had an age difference (10 years or so) with you ? and if so younger or older?

tonywalt
09-20-2012, 01:52 PM
Not a big issue.

Would you be superstitious about anything?

lilimarlene
09-20-2012, 02:47 PM
not really superstitious, but sometimes if there are too many coincidences, let's say I keep bumping into the same person,or something I'm thinking about keeps being mentioned around me, I might feel a pattern emerging and might convince myself that there is a reason behind it all.

same q?

BienvenuJDC
09-20-2012, 05:42 PM

Would you believe only in monogamy?

lilimarlene
09-21-2012, 04:01 PM
yes, if it's going to be a serious relationship, it has to be monogamous.

same q?(tell the truth now:) )

tonywalt
09-21-2012, 04:22 PM
Yes. Of course!

Would you it add to the appeal if a guy is popular with women?-(The stock answer is No-but I'll test it anyway)

lilimarlene
09-21-2012, 04:28 PM
define popular.

tonywalt
09-21-2012, 05:19 PM
Many women are attracted to him for his intelligence, financial stability, and socially charismatic way about him for men and women additionally he is able to emote and be emotional. Women are seen around him quite often. Women notice things and listen-that's my little ole observation.

lilimarlene
09-21-2012, 05:41 PM
ok, well it can be fun dating someone like that. But I do not want a serious relationship with someone that has a lot of women around him. Been there and done that. If I see a man surrounded by too many women and always out with a different one, I will stay well away,I'm not into players. I want someone that is emotionally mature enough to make a commitment to me and me only.

Same question, but change it around..you know man to women!

BienvenuJDC
09-21-2012, 10:53 PM

lilimarlene
09-26-2012, 04:16 PM
well no, because there are lots of times that I don't get to the phone right away, so it's not always a game. And really it would depend on the guy. If he's sincere and straight forward, I will not play any games. But it appears that most men like a challenge, so the ones that do, I will be happy to oblige. On the other hand I hate men that appear hard to get as I need to feel desired to desire.

Would you watch any reality tv shows?-if so which one(s)

Hawkman
09-27-2012, 11:47 AM
Personally, I don't think the kind of TV show which is labelled a "Reality" show has anything to do with reality sat all. They are all predicated on putting people into unnatural situations and then constantly interrupting proceedings with decidedly unnatural commentary and questioning. I'd never watch one. Don't mind honest documentary though.

Would you consent to take part in one, (reality show) for any money?

lilimarlene

09-29-2012, 01:33 PM

Would you work on a cruise ship?

Hawkman
09-29-2012, 01:47 PM
Not a modern one. Ghastly floating blocks of flats filled to the gunwales with sweaty typists from Kettering and Coventry, rubbing Timothy White's sun cream into their puffy red raw purulent flesh. Yuk! I'd love to have sailed on the Normandy, or one of the great ocean liners though.
