Out of all of the concerts I have attended, the musical bands I have performed in, and the day-to-day sounds of downtown life, my ears have gotten relatively desensitized. Luckily, I can still hear out of my stethoscope well, or so it seems, to detect all sorts of murmurs, rubs, gallops, bruits, rhonchi, and wheezes, but I try to pace myself with excess noise these days; I like having an auditory sense, and would like to preserve it.

When I was younger I had to deliver some papers for the lawyers I worked for, to a doctor, allowing her to perform operations that I was totally against. I hated myself for it and resigned soon after because of that reason. So to answer your question, now... No.
