Would ever fly in a float plane?

*Classic*Charm*
04-04-2009, 09:04 PM
I dunno

What's a float plane?

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 01:59 AM
A float plane is one which can land on water.

Would you sing to a dying friend if they wished?

skib
04-05-2009, 02:08 AM
As long as it's a song I know!

Would you learn an instrument to play while you sing to said person?

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 02:31 AM
Yes of course
Would you sing any song they wished??

Chava
04-05-2009, 02:49 AM
Well, as odd as it would be for anyone to ask me to sing, I would of course honour their wish and sing anything they wanted to hear. The question is just if they would recognise it at all...

Would you travel far in the middle of the night, when a friend in need calls?

Tournesol
04-05-2009, 06:21 AM
yes, of course

would you withhold your problems from a loved one, because you know it would hurt them to talk about it?

Sapphire
04-05-2009, 06:34 AM
Definitely, but I would consider how much it would hurt if they found out I hadn't asked them for help.

Would you eat something you don't like because you know the cook/host worked really hard on it?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 10:04 AM
Yes, as long as I wasn't allergic to it.

Would you have children even if you didn't feel ready just to please your spouse?

Chava
04-05-2009, 11:09 AM
No, I'll have children when I feel like I can be a good mother.

Would you say that children can save a relationship?

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 11:12 AM
No! I think that's a very bad idea.

Would you have children or adopt?

Chava
04-05-2009, 11:16 AM
No! I think that's a very bad idea.

Would you have children or adopt?

I agree completly, and regarding the question, I would happily adopt, but I would love very much to have my own little kids tumbleing around sometime in the very distant future :)

Would you live in a slum?

Madhuri
04-05-2009, 11:28 AM
If I had no choice.

Would you have kids to please the elderly relatives who think that it's about time you have had kids, after you get married? Would you give in to that pressure?

Chava
04-05-2009, 11:48 AM
No I wouldn't, kids need the best conditions for growing up, and I will not have any untill I am ready to provide them with enough love. Therefore, I could not have them just to 'get it done'.

Would you couchsurf?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 11:54 AM
I don't know what it is, but I'm an athletic person, so it doesn't sound like something I'd do.

Would you move so far away from your family you could only see them once or twice a year?

Madhuri
04-05-2009, 11:56 AM
I have moved, and it doesn't seem such a good idea.

Would you go back if you thought the distance is too much?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 11:59 AM
Yes, I would.

Would you spoil your children?

Madhuri
04-05-2009, 12:05 PM
I don't have any so I can't say. I don't think I am that soft a person. I presume my kids will have a tough time.

Would you give up your job for your kids?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 12:07 PM
I work at home now, but if I worked outside my home and had kids, yes, I would give up my job for my children. The children would come first.

Would you put your children above your spouse?

Madhuri
04-05-2009, 12:16 PM
I am not there yet, but going by what I think right now, yes I would...

Would you treat all your kids fairly or would you have a tendancy to be biased towards one?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 12:21 PM
I think sometimes people can't help being biased because our personality meshes more easily with some than others, but I would make every effort to treat all my children fairly. I would be fair, I would make every effort to see that all received equal love and attention.

Would you rather have a boy or girl first?

Madhuri
04-05-2009, 12:25 PM
A girl :D :D

If you never had to work, assuming you are financially doing good, would you have many kids? 4, 5, 6, 10? or even more? :D

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 12:32 PM
I'm not going to have kids, but if I were, I have about five. I think it's good when kids have several siblings.

Would you adopt several children of different races?

Madhuri
04-05-2009, 01:03 PM
If I had to adopt, I wont be adopting more than one child, and that will be from India.

Would you spend a crazy sum just to travel in space? Moon? Mars?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 03:06 PM
No, I wouldn't go into space if they paid me.

Same question.

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 03:27 PM
No, I would love to go but it isn't worth the incredibly high expense.

Would you eat with your hands if that were the social norm?

(MissScarlet, couchsurfing is where you sleep on the couch of a friend, and then go to a couch of another friend, and another, etc.)

PoeticPassions
04-05-2009, 03:28 PM
absolutely not. down with conformity!

Would you ever be a superhero if you could (all superhero responsibilities included)?

Chava
04-05-2009, 03:30 PM
(MissScarlet, couchsurfing is where you sleep on the couch of a friend, and then go to a couch of another friend, and another, etc.)

Right you are

regarding the question; I eat with my hands all the time, I was taught it in Indonesia, and learned the proper etiquette of it too. It is more difficult than it looks. :)

[Too slow;] I don't want to be a superhero at all

What is the latest to go to bed for a constructive following day?

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 03:30 PM

Yes I might be.

Would you join a project for restoring trails?

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 03:32 PM
Wow! I am also too slow!

Umh, I don't think there's a set time for that, considering one might be a computer programmer or something who works effeciently in the afternoon and evening and stays up all night.

My last question..

PoeticPassions
04-05-2009, 03:35 PM
LoL! But Poetic, aren't you already acting in a conformed way, to only eat with utinsils?

Yes I might be.

Would you join a project for restoring trails?

yes, indeed I am ;) I actually sometimes eat with my hands... I think I would adapt to the culture I suppose :D hehehe no way to avoid conformity!!

and to the question: sure

Would you eat a live lizard?

MissScarlett
04-05-2009, 05:26 PM
No, I would not. Never.

NikolaiI
04-05-2009, 05:30 PM

Would you cook a lizard for a friend if they requested you?

MissScarlett

papayahed
04-05-2009, 07:10 PM

04-05-2009, 07:12 PM
If I didn't have anything else to do I would.

Would you ever participate in a marathon?

The Comedian
04-05-2009, 07:35 PM

Scheherazade
04-05-2009, 07:39 PM

papayahed
04-05-2009, 07:41 PM

Would you give up reading for a month?

Scheherazade
04-05-2009, 07:44 PM
I seriously doubt that.

Would you wear glasses even though you did not need them?

The Comedian
04-05-2009, 07:46 PM
Ha! Go ahead. It's a fashion statement, not a lie. And, yes, I would.

Would you ever question whether someone wearing glasses really needed them? ;)

Scheherazade
04-05-2009, 07:49 PM
Not really.

Would you paint a room in the house on a whim?

Silas Thorne
04-05-2009, 07:51 PM

Scheherazade
04-05-2009, 07:53 PM

From udder or cup? Cup, maybe.

Would you beat your brother or sister in a fight? ;)

mono
04-05-2009, 11:16 PM
I have two brothers, one older, one younger, and they would both likely kick my asphalt in a fight - they both out-do me in size and strength; luckily, we all get along great, and neither of us would likely get so angry at each other to get in a physical fight - if in the rare case, one of our parents would probably intervene quickly and with authority.

Would you sooner live with unpleasant roommates or move back in with your parents?

Silas Thorne
04-06-2009, 12:03 AM
depends on how unpleasant they were. ;)

PoeticPassions

Would you jump off a 10-15m diving board if you couldn't dive, just to feel the thrill?

PoeticPassions
04-06-2009, 04:54 AM
hm, maybe. It depends on my mood that day. I am dreadfully afraid of heights, but I try to push myself to get over it. It never works.

Would you tell someone you love them, even though you don't really mean it?

Sapphire
04-06-2009, 05:46 AM
No.

Would you tell someone you hate them, while it is "just" an ordinary dislike?

MissScarlett
04-06-2009, 07:16 AM
No, and probably not even if I did hate them. I try not to use the word, "hate," or to actually hate, but some people make it kind of hard. Hate's awfully strong - in the negative.

Chava

Would you lift heavy weights beyond your capacity, just to impress a pretty girl in the gym? :D

mono
04-06-2009, 11:00 PM
No, never. I go to the gym primarily for cardiopulmonary exercises, too; subsequently my upper body does not appear too impressive. :( Also, as someone who works in medicine, I certainly know the effects of overworking your muscles, causing a dangerous condition called rhabdomyolysis - not very wise.

Let us say you write songs and very well: if a professional musician payed you an astounding lump of money to own, perform, and take credit for your songs, would you let them?

NikolaiI
04-06-2009, 11:44 PM

Would you take care of your neighbor's children for the weekend, without pay, of course?

a_little_wisp
04-07-2009, 02:27 AM
That truly depends on how well I knew the neighbors and whether or not the children were well-behaved. If I had nothing better to do (but of course I work) I would, (I have two little sisters myself) if the children were good kids and I knew the parents well. Kids are great.
