Thanks but I've gotten my orders to move. On the plus side it's a more private office - I can plot my revenge in peace. Ya know what they say ....Hell Hath no furry......
Now, I need ideas...... anybody?
Heh, I actually (yes, really! ;) ) did a blog post on a very similiar topic...
These are all (playful) ways to get "even".
WWN has to be the most absurdly compelling "news" paper ever. Tis awesome in it's cheeziness.

7 WAYS TO ANNOY CO-WORKERS -WITHOUT GETTING IN TROUBLE!
By DORIAN WAGNER
BOCA RATON, Fla. — Every office has one: The guy who is always looking for new ways to drive everyone crazy. You want to fight back but don't want to risk getting in trouble, right? Well thanks to a new book, Legal Ways to Drive Them Loony, you too can be extremely — yet innocently — annoying.
"The tried-and-true pranks I've outlined in my book are guaranteed to get them good and give you a good laugh — without technically doing anything wrong," author Rick Quigley told us. "And believe me, it's those little things that really get to people."
Here are 7 of his favorites:
* SEND VOICEMAILS THAT GO ON AND ON. Call a coworker and make your point over and over or don't make one at all. "Either way, be sure to talk until the message stops recording," Quigley said. "Most desk workers don't know how to stop a voicemail before it's over so they're forced to listen to the whole, frustrating message."
* FORWARD AS MANY STUPID EMAILS AS POSSIBLE. According to Quigley, the average office worker receives 42 emails a day. "Imagine if you could bump that number up by another 40 or 50!" he said. "Bonus points for anything with puppy pictures, a sappy story or a link to some tremendously long news story no one cares about."
* COMMUNICATE ONLY IN BABY TALK. Enough said about this one.
* MASS E-MAIL ASKING IF ANYONE WANTS FREE TICKETS. "Timing is everything on this one," Quigley said. "Make sure it's right before the NBA finals, Super Bowl or World Series. When the excited responses pour in, simply write back, "Yeah — me too." It's not your fault they misinterpreted your question as an offer. "The important thing to remember is that it's easy to get their goat — without needing a scapegoat."
* BANG YOUR HEAD REPEATEDLY ON YOUR COMPUTER KEYBOARD. "Coworkers have to look over, to ask 'what's wrong,' " Quigley said. "Then you say 'nothing' — but keep banging. It's like tapping your fingers on the desk only 10 times worse."
* BREAK OUT THE SPORTS SECTION DURING IMPORTANT MEETINGS. You're at the meeting, you were on time, you're not talking out of turn. Heck, you may even be listening! "But it gives off an air of 'I don't care' that is priceless in terms of annoyingness," Quigley assured us.
* YELL FOR SOMEONE TO "CHECK THIS OUT" RIGHT NOW. Make sure it's pointless — and that they're busy. "Then have your latest paper clip chain or face-of-Jesus on the bottom of your coffee cup all ready for them," Quigley suggested. "You made them get up and wasted their time. Two points for you."

I've lost the meaning of life but I thought
Does it ever has a meaning
Sick and tired I'm with what I was
But still I'm the same and that what I'd be
The same ever and forever in this world
Trying to give meaning to what has no meaning
Life, live, love make a good consonance
But still make no reason for me to be
Yet, empty should it be as ever
Forsaken and alone forever

What we want and what others want is never the same. Once we agree upon the same things in a way or another, that could be called love.

Anyone who controls the weather here has got a strange sense of irony.
See, there has been a heat wave here for about a month so that by the end of first week everyone felt like melting.
So, the practically only day when it rained and was cold was 23th June.
(explanation: it is a custom in Estonia and in a few neighbouring countries to make a big fire on the evening between 23th and 24th of June. It is an old custom and has actually been practiced in the rest of Europe too, but it has died out there. To make and sit besides th efire is considered to be very important.)

The new Superintendent and plant manager decided to change the attendence policy, they did this behind a closed door and didn't tell anyone except the chick that keeps track - now the whole plant is asking me about it and all I can say is "I don't know". They also did the same thing a few months back regarding an employee and drug testing - the 2 made a decision and didn't have the guts to stand up in front of the plant and explan their decision, instead I had to give my standard "I don't know". What does it seem about nature that always brightens my spirits? This morning, I felt horribly depressed, and almost did not want to attend a day-long hiking trip a friend and I had planned. Regardless, I forced myself.
The closer and closer we got to our destination, many forests, waterfalls, rivers, and lakes leading to it, I gradually felt my mood lightening, incessantly bringing smiles to my face, joking, and anticipating the hike.
In all, we ambled roughly 12 miles (slighly over 19 kilometers), and by the end, besides feeling exhausted, I had not felt that elated since my last trip there (about a month ago).
No matter how much I meditate on the subject of what amazes me, enthalls me, and fulfills me with transcendence in nature, I shall never know, and hardly what to know, desiring more to leave it in the unknown.

Its referance books or factual sources that are wrong.
Take wikkipedia for eg it says that costantinople fell to the Ottamans in 1453 when it didnt it well to the Abassyanns and then they lost it to the fatimyian and eventually it was lost to the ottamans at least 200 years later.
Why dont they check their facts

Ugh, I have had the same trouble, Nightshade. Wikipedia.com consists of essays made from users and everyday visitors of the site. Of course, high scholars and very well-educated people may have contributed to them, but nothing appears completely factual or correct.
If you find things wrong on the site, however, you can always post a comment on the page, notifying others of incorrect information, and your corrections. I have found few incorrect facts, and have posted. ;)

Yes but the whole article is based on this misfact so the whole thing would need scrapping and my history isnt that competent.
but it worse in published referance books when they misquote a source then base all these long winded conclusions on the error. but when I wantted to write a little note and stick it in the margine of the book ( it was a library book ) I got told to forget about it
:D ahh well I suppose I am a wee bit pedantic about facts.

Night? What is a 'paddling pool'?
I was just thinking about my childhood, when I was between four and ten. We used to go to our (summer) residence in Lower Austria during summer vacation and the pictures we have of that time paint a picture so different from what is happening these days.
There are lots of photos of my brother and I in the photoalbum I'm now looking at and I do not even remember them all. Just a few. It all seems so long ago now. And for now it is. Perhaps, in twenty years or so, ten years out of 40 won't seem so much anymore.

The speciality of this browser is that on the same view under different tabs you can open many web pages, instead of opening them seperately as is the case with IE. Also, there are options like continue from previous page or start fresh.

Sometimes Mozilla Firefox really, really, really, really bothers me. When surfing around pages, sometimes a separate window appears stating Firefox must close 'due to an error;' it did this today before sending a very long e-mail.
To my brother who recommended that I get Mozilla Firefox, I smite thee!

What strange version of Firefox you have I do not know, but it must be broken. Firefox is far more stable than 'GASP!' Internet Crasher by Microdaft.

You know what really really annoys me?
Its referance books or factual sources that are wrong.
Take wikkipedia for eg it says that costantinople fell to the Ottamans in 1453 when it didnt it well to the Abassyanns and then they lost it to the fatimyian and eventually it was lost to the ottamans at least 200 years later.
Why dont they check their facts :mad:Even though I am yet to encounter a problem with Wikipedia as a reliable source, I have often heard it from other people that it is not.
However, in this incident, I believe, they are correct, Night. The Ottomans did conquer Istanbul (Constantinople) in 1453. I am not sure when Abassyans and Fatimians were in Istanbul because it was in the hands of Byzantine Empire for almost a thousand years before the Ottoman capture:
İstanbul is famous as one of the most often besieged cities in the world. Before the Turkish conquest its assailants included the Arabs (673–78, 717–18), the Bulgarians (813, 913), and the armies of the Fourth Crusade, which twice succeeded in taking the city (1203, 1204). After Constantinople fell to the Turks in 1453, the city became the capital of the Ottoman, or Turkish, Empire;

I dont know if I told you all about the man who stroked my head in the street and how creepy and scary that was?
Well today I topped it.
This man comes into the library and ask a question and someone else answered it but he was looking at me, later he comes back and stares and styares andstares at me and it was horrible and creepy, and someone else was serbing him an d he didnt even look at her he just kept staring at me. Until I couldnt stand it anymore and hid in the back offce ( cowardly I knopw but it was eeeeeeek *shudder*)
anyway the weather has been almost autummy today and I notice as I leave work while we are locking up that hes in the carpark just hannging round in the rain and then Im crossing the street and he looks up and sees me then next thing I know hes pulled up in his car has the door open and is asking me if I want a lift.....as IF!
still it was kind of scary because even though it was only 5 oclock the weather has driven everyone indoors and I was in flimsy heeled boots and a long skirt not really good for running or fighting you know??
And that was just the icing on a bad day all round

I've seen a few creeps do that to women, ceeping up and acting all creepy. I've always had the urge to hit them in the head for it, let's just say I don't approve of their methods of creeping people out.
You better bring your military issues combat boots next time, so you can hit him where it really hurts. They are the kind of guys that deserve to be in severe pain. They give the rest of us a bad name.

I can forgive easily I can usually understand the why behind it. But forget no, its like a shoe on a blister and every so often te blister bursts open and bleeds and there nothing you can do about it becasue you have wear shoes because you have to go out. So it never fully heals.
What a morbid thought  but true. You cant just forget somthing beaue you wnt to, the more you try to iggnor it or push it away the bigger it gets until one day itll swallow you live, and all the cheerfullness will be gone.

I will attempt...used electronics is like kryptonite to people of technical relations, ie a network administrator, a database administrator, anyone who owns two sets of star wars (dvd, and vhs)...so...its more like a disease and should be treated as such...maybe coax him into buying books by asking for used electronic pda books...or a used slate...or the like...well...you could always just bash him.:crash:

I had to write this thing and it was very very simple but i COULD NOT get it to work, and the proffessor/teacher / lecturer ( what ever it is you all them at uni. cant see what s wrong with it either so it is very annoying.
I also wanted to know is it possible to use arrays, loops if and while function things and those little choice box things to make a program ( is it even called a program??) that will print out all the people I need to email like 100 people from 4 differant units but some are in more than one and I dont want to repeat the email to them but I want it to tell me who it is I needto email if I pick 2 of the 4 units. Or would it just be easier with access?

So, we are back from the Rocky Horror Picture Larp show yesterday. Played Eddie. That was one of the most absurd Larps we have been to. The characters
*The Addams family. Gomez, Morticia (they were very, very, very good) and Wednesday and Hester. Gomez fas a former classmate of Frank.
*The Scooby-Doo gang. They were there because two of them had been killed by some thing. And wanted to find out.
*Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She tried to hit on us, spoke how she always, from her early childhood had dreamt of men woth motorcycles
*some chap dressed overly in red. Apparently, a vampire. Buffy had a crush on him.
*Flintstones characters.
*Austin Powers and James Bond. Kept shooting and didn't have to load their guns even after shooting 24 shots.
*Yoda. It later turned out that Brad (Janet's boyfriend) was a Sith-lord so that was why he was here.
*A Teletubby. That was severely absurd.
*Ramses the Second.
*Playboy Robots, Franks' newest inventions.
*And of course, the Rocky Horror Picture Larp Shows characters - Eddie (us), our uncle, Dr. Scott, Frank, Columbia, Riff-Raff and Magenta (those two were played by the GM s) and Brad and Janet. No Rocky.
*and others.

The code that you'll write for it will be called a program. It will be better if you use variables, than providing specific numbers, like 100, other wise it will run only for these specific values, using variables will make it work for any number of emails you want. Access, is a database, I have not done any programming using it, I have used it more for dbase purpose, and then used a program that will connect to this dbase and extract values as desired.
I hope this helps. :)
