Hmmm... I'm at a loss with classics... the guy hiding could be a young Dustin Hoffman? http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/scratch_one-s_head.gif

Basil
09-08-2010, 10:47 PM
Nope. And the actor in this shot isn't what most people would consider "young."

(especially these days, seeing how he's dead)

Vertigo, that masterpiece of sexual obsession by the Master of Suspence.

Basil

Not Sigourney, but it is a well-known actress in an early role. Were it not for the glasses and the downturned gaze, you would probably recognize her immediately.

Maximilianus

Hints!

1. In the previous photo, the airplane has nothing to do whatsoever with the plot of the movie. However, the object to the left of the plane--more specifically, what's inside that object--has everything to do with the plot.

2. In the movie, the following shot occurs literally 3 seconds after the 1st pic.

The number 20* factors rather heavily into the plot of the movie. Here, it's just making a cameo of sorts...

How'd you know? Nobody has seen that movie!

I used to watch a lot of bad movies on TV. I barely remember the movie honestly, it must be almost 12 years since I saw it.

Here's another movie in the spirit of the upcoming Halloween season.

Maximilianus
10-05-2010, 12:08 AM
No, no, though the beginning "E" is quite appropriate ;) I'll give a few more clues. It's a very recent flick, starring an award-winning actor/director (the man in the picture) and a very young actress who is not American (the girl in the picture). Within the story, they are father and daughter, and one of them loses the other tragically.

Maximilianus

Probably a sharper clue before giving the answer away, like the initials of the main character or the city where the story is set... or whatever clue you see fit http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af178/maxicastro/Smileys/hat_2.gif

http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/scratch_one-s_head.gif Picture plus clues... I will risk Hard Boiled.

Oh, and how do I embed the picture itself in the message?
What I often do is first upload my pictures on my Photobucket account and then I place the corresponding link between the IMG tags. That is, you write , then the image link, and finally a closing tag. That should show you the picture as part of your post. I'm not sure if it works for pictures added to a Lit Net album, but it should... I'll go and see.

Maximilianus
07-29-2011, 11:16 PM
