Ted Turner must have a hankerin' for the Old West, when men were men, women were women and there was no such thing as a no-fault divorce or an antitrust law. The communications mogul has sunk considerable resources into producing high-end television westerns for his cable network,TNT. With adaptations of Elmore Leonard's "Last Stand at Saber River" and Zane Grey's "Riders of the Purple Sage" and remakes of "The Virginian" and "High Noon," the network has cornered the cable market on westerns.
