When Zane Grey died in 1939 in Altadena, California, he left about two dozen full-length manuscripts yet to be published. From what remains as yet unpublished, Carlton Jackson has edited this full-length novel, which may or may not be the last. At least it is the latest novel by Grey. In many ways it fittingly brings Grey's literary career full-circle, since it brings the action back to his native Ohio and finishes off materials and motifs of his first three novels.
