Bemidji State University issued the following news release:
Dr. Carol Porterfield Milowski, Bemidji State University associate professor of English, will seek to reshape views of the mythical Old American West during an Academy of Lifelong Learning lecture at 10 a.m. April 18 in the Center for Research and Innovation (CRI).
Free and open to the public, her lecture is titled: "Move Over John Wayne and Zane Grey; Here Come the Women and the Wash Buckets."
The CRI is an off-campus facility operated by Bemidji State and located at 3801 Bemidji Avenue North.
