nights sleeping in a park. All he has to his name are an old mattress,
some blankets, a plastic cupboard, the grimy clothes he's wearing, and a
chronic bad back.

He frets about the future in general and the coming cold weather in
particular. A recovering alcoholic, he's 57 years old but looks at least
