I have assembled small groups of Sophoclean fragments to make several poems of a sort by sequencing the fragments within thematic groups; the poems presented here are from that project. I have not added anything to these constructions; I use only Sophocles' lines--his images and metaphors, his ideas and language. Many of the fragments are no more than a line or two long, having survived either by chance in papyrus manuscripts or as quotations in the works of later authors.
