PBS presents the first installment of Sophocles' "The Theban Plays," a three-part series. Directed by Don Taylor, produced by Louis Marks. New translation written by Taylor. Will air at 1 p.m. Sunday on WTTW-Channel 11, parts two and three, "Oedipus at Colonus" and "Antigone," will air at 1 p.m. Oct. 2 and 9.
