Director Craig Johnson again has taken up his pen with Henrik Ibsen. After shaking out "A Doll's House" a few years back, Johnson peers into the cold heart of "Ghosts," which Ibsen once said he wrote to show what would have happened if Nora had heeded Torvald's desperate cries to come home. Johnson directs his adaptation in a new production at Theatre in the Round, opening next weekend.

As with much of Ibsen's canon, "Ghosts" shocked the civilized world initially - it was not performed until 1883, two years after its publication. ...
