It's a safe bet that when Henrik Ibsen penned his dark, realist drama A Doll's House, he wasn't counting on Christine Bevan's interpretation. She started decorating dolls' houses four years ago as a way of passing the time, and was keen to give them a personal touch; you won't find any paisley carpets or net curtains here. The pictured room is an expression of her long-standing passion for Liberace. Her aim, she says, was to 'recreate his glitter and sparkle'. She's done a fine job.
