In Henrik Ibsen's play "Peer Gynt," the title character struggles to find his true self. In playwright Romulus Linney's retelling of this Norway folk drama, the locale moves to Appalachia and the character becomes Pete Gint, a 20th century son, lover, rascal and rogue who experiences failure and success as his life takes him from the North Carolina hollers to California resorts. The Elizabethtown College's theater program tackles this drama tonight through Saturday at 8 p.m. (and again next weekend) in the Tempest Theatre. Tickets are $5 and are available by calling ...
