When he awoke at 6 a.m. Saturday, Homer High School running back Dustin Morris felt a bit groggy. After all, this was a weekend. So as his alarm rang early in the morning, he briefly thought it was a school day.
But as he woke up and grew conscious of exactly what day it was and why he woke up at 6 a.m., Morris shook off the fatigue.
"I realized we've got a football game today," Morris said. "That's all I needed to get me revved up."
