Homer T. Ashton died June 18, 2003 in Redlands, California.

Homer was born to George W. and Alice R. (Timpson) Ashton on September 25, 1937. At the age of 12, Homer lost his father, whom he greatly revered. This loss greatly impacted Homer's life, as he missed having his loving father to guide him during his teen years. He always strived to keep the memory of his father alive and emulate his good qualities in honoring his wife Barbara Barben, who were married on September 6, 1961 in the Salt Lake City Temple, and in raising four daughters, Leslie Ashton Smith ...
