YAKIMA - Heaven became a little brighter from the radiant spirit and famous smile of Homer M. Gallant. On June 25, 2004 at Memorial Hospital, Homer went home to the open arms of his Lord while in the arms of his loving family, both in name and in Jesus; winning his long time battle with cancer. He was born April 20, 1921 to Walter and Minnie Gallant in Yakima, WA. He both grew up and, other than a few years he traveled with his job, spent his life here. He married Agnes Ellen Elke, also of Yakima, on June 11, 1939.
