Boston bank CEO forced out Kevin Cohee takes over from Ronald Homer at helm of only black-owned lender in Hub

Ronald Homer, whose spot atop Boston's only black-owned bank made him one of the most visible minority businessmen in the city for 13 years, is out.

Homer was forced out of Boston Bank of Commerce in favor of Kevin Cohee, who a year ago was made chairman when he and his wife invested $1 million in a bank that had lost money for years. Cohee will assume Homer's title of chief executive; his wife, Teri Williams, remains senior vice president.
