SPEED merchant Matthew Barnes-Homer could prove Kidderminster Harriers' secret weapon in attack this season.

The pacy striker built a reputation for being one of the fastest players on the Midlands non-league circuit last season.

Now Harriers will look to use Barnes-Homer's sprinting prowess to good effect.

The 21-year-old is no stranger to local football. Dudley-based Barnes-Homer was singled out for stardom when he signed for Wolves as a 15-year-old. But his dreams were dashed three years later when Wolves released him.
