Homer City group launches revolving library locations

HOMER CITY--Organizers of a public library in town have developed plans for a revolving library at several business sites within the community.

Homer-Center Public Library board member Tricia Hunyady said the non-profit organization recently received tax exempt status. The board may now accept tax-deductible donations.

In addition, eight business owners in the Homer City area have agreed to provide sites for the revolving library, she said.

"There will be 10 to 15 books available at each site," Hunyady said. "People can even donate books at the sites."
