Irv Homer: 'Africans carry spears...nutty as bed bugs'.

United Negro College Fund (UNCF) National President William Gray told the Tribune last week that remarks made by WWDB-FM talk show host Irv Homer in which the radio personality said "Africans carry spears" and "dress according to their neighborhood" were "insidious, villainous and bigoted."

Even the Jewish Community Relations Council of Philadelphia (JCRC) said last week that Homer's statements made during a Feb. 2 broadcast, were "racist."
