Summer in Central Park: Star Power and Free Tickets

This summer, 19th-century Russian playwright Anton Chekhov moves into hot ticket territory with a boost from director Mike Nichols and his incredible dream cast. Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Natalie Portman, Christopher Walken, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Goodman, Allison Janney, Debra Monk, Stephen Spinella and Larry Pine perform "The Sea Gull" under the stars in Central Park's Delacorte Theater, July 24-Aug. 19.

Earlier in the summer, "Almost Famous" star Billy Crudup will play the park June 5-28, appearing as Angelo in Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure."
