Sorry to get in between  but I would say that the pasted picture on the top right corner must be the time traveler, and I assume that the pasted picture below must be the time machine (looks a bit like the time machine in the movie adaptation of the homonym novel by H. G. Wells, starring Guy Pierce). Now, the original painting is this one: http://www.rubylane.com/item/394971-RL-6134/19th-Century-British-School-Portrait (author unknown, apparently) and the time machine must be a sort of GIF or PNG image that hasn't been properly processed (you can see the transparencies around the edges, but a white background around the inner parts of the machine, which is a recurrent habit by people who have never done much image processing throughout their lives, and we can imagine why - because it demands a lot of hard work to eliminate inner backgrounds and still manage to make the resulting picture appear genuine). All that said, I conclude that the above picture has been exclusively done as joke :)

Usually I go straight to posting whatever new song I've thrown out, which I'm still gonna do, BUT I figured I'd show some of my other enjoyments I do as well. I'm still sorta getting used to using a digital medium for drawing and what not, and if cartoons aren't totally out of the "in" now:

After a hellacious week we went out to Mexican and a goodly amount of Tequila. As such I'm buzzed enough to post one of my more recent efforts: Fallen Snow... a sort of twisted take on the relationship between Snow White and the "wicked" stepmother:

Haha. I like your assessment. Jokes are fun. I posted this picture as an April Fool's joke. I proclaimed it my best work ever and listed it for $5,000...

A friend of mine had this to say about it: "It's like the push-and-pull between the philosophies of Sartre and Camus finally broke upon a page. I'm speechless."

I love twisted fairy tales. I like the softness of your figures and the pretty blues of their eyes. The colors make me think of a scene in a Dario Argento film. I'm so happy you imbibed and shared something with us! Very glad you included the close-ups. What's the medium? Pastels? Do you mind me asking what kind of sealant you use, if any?

If you're wanting to learn to draw, or improve upon existing skills, Mark Crilley has so many fantastic, easy tutorials. You don't need fancy tools. I don't work for him or anything, these are just super fun and they have helped my art, so I thought I would pass them along.

That's a good link Varenne :) I'll watch them all in due course for sure

Wow...It has seriously been forever since I've been on LitNet! :ack2: I really should get on more frequently....well, just bought new art supplies, so I hope I'll be able to get more work up. Here's one of my recent pieces. It's not finished yet, as you can tell, but I managed to line it without my pen and tablet...

Hey lover-faces!!! It's been a little short while, had my old lap top fry on me. Anyway, I know I did this cover once before but it was across states. This time it is live and is me and my girl's duo. SO! Enjoy, it's really very cute. I'm bias, but it is.

My friend, you nailed it!
That's great, you captured the true essence of how it feels returning to hell coming back from vacation.
In fact, I'd suggest your image is applicable to each Monday morning as well.

It's not Dean Martin and Peggy Lee, but I like it as a quirky, fun ditty. Do I hear a bit of Tiny Tim influence?
Sounds like you had fun putting it together. I was familiar with the song being one that my wife likes.

Haha yea we had a blast, we tried doing it with a more serious tone for about an hour and kept messing up for some reason, we usually do everything perfect when we are out busking or something but recording adds extra tension.

Yes, yes you did hear a bit of Tiny Tim influence lol

Knowing that someone feels the same about the end of vacation is a sort of accompanying in the ordeal :p

Thanks Beautifull! :) Your pics have become truly phenomenal over the last few years :)

And Max! That looks even more amazing on Litnet! :) (Still makes me think of waking up)

I finally finished this the other day, took a bit longer than anticipated because of intricate rearrangements. I'd move something a fraction to get a better balance, then it'd be unbalanced in another area, so I'd fiddle some more, the lighting was a nightmare - and finally after about three weeks further of occasional messing about here it is (still in progress I'm afraid) :
