J.D. Salinger or William Golding?

NikolaiI
02-28-2009, 02:51 AM
Eh... I am not that well read.

My signtarue quote's author, or the author of Ana Karenina?

Wait did W. Golding write Lord of the Flies? In that case, the devil I know...

Chava
02-28-2009, 02:52 AM
Oh bugger I've been caught! I haven't read JD. (Fault to be ammended) Of Golding's, I have one or two, but only ever read Lord of the Flies, which, to be fair, kept me up all night so that I feel asleep in a 6th grade math test...

Beautiful writing, or exciting plot?

NikolaiI
02-28-2009, 02:53 AM

Chava

My current dilemma: pay too much money for a Verizon PC card for laptop Internet, which shorts out often, but has the option of traveling to areas of no Wi-Fi -- or -- pay way less money for faster Internet available only at home?

Chava
03-01-2009, 06:31 AM
Funny I was just thinking about Internet dilemmas and my next question would have been "Internet that's dodgy and falls out, or no internet at all". I would go for internet at home. But then here, there's a million places to connect, most cafe's have wireless, even the trains and busses.

rather be bitten by a warewolf or bitten by a vampire??

Oniw17
03-15-2009, 05:49 PM
It really depends on who's version of a vampire and werewolf you're talking about. If it's a flying vampire, I want to be bit by that thing, but if not, being quadriped durring full moons(and possibly at will depending on what storyline you go by) has distinct advantages. Then again if one if one lives forever and the other doesn't, I want to be bit by the one that lives forever. If being bit by either won't turn me into a similar individual, then I'd say vampire, it seems like the bite would hurt less.
