spend life with someone who is not really the one you dreamed of or wait for true love?
caesar
09-28-2006, 01:30 PM
I can wait, but not for too long. I think, finding an ideal partner is nigh impossible, but a couple, with mutual tolerance and appreciation for their differances, can grow into ideal partners. When it come to love, things don't work-out according to our plans. So I'd rather take a chance, than wait.
Same Q
Idril
09-28-2006, 09:14 PM
I'm not really the patient type but I would wait, a lifetime is a long time to spend with someone who doesn't float your boat. ;)

09-29-2006, 08:51 PM
Blake
Louis or Lestat
Idril
09-29-2006, 10:16 PM
That's kind of a tough one, Lestat gets so overbearing sometimes, there's only so many times you can hear him go on and on about how beautiful and blonde and powerful and evil he is before your eyes start to glaze over but Louis doesn't exactly have a sparkling personality either...in the end, I think I'd have to go with Lestat because at least he doesn't whine incessantly like Louis.

Idril
09-30-2006, 10:49 PM
I love trains! I love the motion of them and I love, love watching the sunrise while riding on one...because I generally don't sleep all that well on trains either but it's worth a little fatigue to see every single stage of the sunrise, something I don't normally see because I'm usually sleeping.

Flash temper or slow burn?
Pendragon

Though I wish to base my actions on reason and logic sometimes its just impossible. Feelins and emotions are so strong that sometimes instinct supersedes reason.
Wat say you, from your experience, pen?
Same QFrom my experience, Caesar, logic is as fallible as instinct. I go with logic most of the time, but sometimes I can almost hear instinct screaming "Not that way you bloody fool!" And I probably should listen more!

we'r getting addicted to this game, aren't we Shalot?:)
I guess I am. I feel like I should post in the the "literature" section and discuss some of the poetry I studied or discuss the classics like Madame Bovary and Evelina, but I spend most of my time in the games section. Maybe I should find a new forum that has only games like this....or not. That might be kind of crappy. A forum has to be about something.

blatant rejection, better to be honest and leave little doubt, it's easier. Although most people seem to think subtle hinst are preferable, esp. women seem to think so. I make it a rule to not care about subtle hints, even if I happen to occassionally pick up on a few of them, I pretend I didn't.

YES!!! And it's so weird that you said that because right at this moment, Never Say Never by Romeo Void is playing on my computer and I used to think that was one of the greatest songs ever but my iPod played the heck out of it and now I'm so sick of it, I have to turn it whenever it plays, so I'm pressing forward as we speak...
Well, that depends on what you consider late, 9:00 is late for me but someone else would consider that early, but still, I would say, sleep late.
