Always always on the extreme end. It seems like all or nothing with me.
Do you ever stop in the middle of reading/writing and realize that the spelling/pronunciation/sound of one of your own language's words all of a sudden seems totally alien to you?

western medicine or holistic healing?
emily655321
04-21-2004, 05:00 AM
They both go too far, IMO. It takes the physical and the mental to overcome an ailment, but seeing as I don't believe in the power of accupuncture or herbs to cure me, it wouldn't help me much anyway. So... western, with a dash of one's own brain power to amplify the benefits.

Sancho
04-21-2004, 11:25 AM
Burrito. I don't like to have to turn my head sideways to eat a taco. Maybe if my teeth worked side to side instead of up and down, but then eating corn on the cob would be problematic.

Sancho
04-21-2004, 11:26 AM
Whoops!
Ketchup.
Kethup or Catsup?
IWilKikU
04-21-2004, 11:28 AM

04-22-2004, 06:20 PM
I don't know what 'chucks' are, and I don't own any basketball sneakers. I've got flipflops and a pair of Etnies (prefer DC's but they're hard to come by in the UK).
Flowers or Chocolate? If you're a girl which do you prefer to recieve, if you're a guy, which do you usually give?
emily655321
04-22-2004, 06:28 PM
Chucks are the kind Bart Simpson and emo kids wear, with the star on the inside. It was a lame question, I just couldn't think of another one. :p
Flowers if they're still in dirt. Don't kill plants for me, it's unnecessary. Chocolate is creepy, personally, because I don't like eating in front of people and I'd be morally obliged to share it with you. I would prefer a kiss on the cheek.

04-22-2004, 06:49 PM

Continuing with the "I-spy" theme here, is the moulding in your house wood or painted?
Sancho
04-22-2004, 06:57 PM
I’ve got a little of each. Some poorly painted molding and some poorly stained molding. This place is sort of a testament to the fact that I’m a whole lot better at starting projects than finishing them.
Annuals or Perennials?
emily655321
04-22-2004, 07:01 PM
My dad does the gardening. I have imaginary allergies to the outdoors, in that I glow in the sunlight and fry crispy, and every insect within a five-mile radius hears me step outside and comes for dinner. But I believe all the stuff in our yard is perennial.

Sancho
04-22-2004, 07:05 PM

Never seen the Pacific, but I prefer grey and wavey to blue and misty, so Atlantic. Gotta go wash dishes now, I'm being creeched at. See you later.

Alarm clock: radio or beeping alarm? (or, in my case, what sounds like a smoke detector and scares the bejeezus out of me in the middle of the night when I set it incorrectly, which is frequently, even though I've had it since I was seven. You really didn't need to know all that.)

Don't really need an alarm clock when you have a cat named "Bruno." When on the road, "BEEEEP"

Why, we shall go on! dhm -- many many opportunities yet to do, never an opportunity to take back. Some pretty dumb things routinely slip out of my mouth, and I just never seem to let go of the embarrassment. The things I have done, is my answer.

verybaddmom
04-29-2004, 12:20 PM

i am moving in two months and my bf is already concerned about moving my books; last time i moved they were labelled so that the first box said "books" and the next box said "more books" and then they went into "i know, more @#%! books" etc. a whole pickup load just for books...would be much better if i didnt have the gypsy feet that push me to move every six months....i think i move only to have a chance to touch all my books...
move alot or stay in one place as long as possible?
stay as long as possible! (BTW, any ideas to convince my husband that I should not sell back my books?)
I guess that could consitute as the next question!:)
