Sonnets 63 - 70

(63) - "against my love . . ."

Summary:

I prepare for that time when age shall steal my love's beauty and life by
keeping his memory green in my poetry.

Paraphrase

1. In provision for the time when my love shall be as I am now,

2. crushed and worn out with age,

3. pale and bloodless, and with

4. wrinkled brow; when his youth shall

5. have become old age,

6. and all those youthful charms he now enjoys
