The scene shifts to a street in Cyprus near Bianca's house. Iago and
Roderigo are preparing to ambush Cassio. Roderigo has misgivings about
murdering Cassio, but he reasons that death is merely the departure of a man,
and this murder may bring him satisfying results. Iago is also uncertain about
the outcome, but he sees enormous gains no matter what happens. Roderigo is to
