Comment:

Act IV has an unusual structure for this play. It is the only act in
which the comic subplot is entirely ignored. Captain Falstaff appears in a
brief and amusing scene, but he is engaged in martial activity related to the
rebellion. The business of the rebellion is brought to a swift conclusion
