Antony And Cleopatra. Act 4

Act 4 Scene 1

Caesar, with Agrippa and Maecenas, receives Antony's letter of challenge
in his camp and laughs it to scorn. Maecenas estimates Antony's anger to be
desperation and urges Caesar to attack his enemy in the heat of it. Caesar
concurs that the time is ripe; with so many deserters from Antony's ranks he
feels he can win at the odds. He orders a huge celebration feast.
