The Comedy Of Errors
The Play:
The Comedy of Errors is one of the few plays of Shakespeare which deals
almost entirely with middle-class characters. It is also one of Shakespeare's
earliest pieces, although we may not have it in its original form, and it is
usually dated 1592-93. The play does not concern itself much with the study of
character, except, in small measure, with that of Adriana, who does develop in
