Denzel Washington will star as Brutus in a production of William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" opening on Broadway later this season, it was announced Friday.
The play, directed by Daniel Sullivan, will begin preview performances sometime in March and open at the Belasco Theatre in April on a date to be announced, said Chris Boneau, a spokesman for the production. Further casting will be announced later, Boneau added.
