St. Thomas University issued the following news release:

The life and work of Fr. John J. Kelly was celebrated Thursday, August 31, 2006

with a Mass of the Resurrection held at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Coral Gables. Attended by Miami Archbishop John C. Favalora, St. Thomas University President Msgr. Franklyn M. Casale and distinguished members of the Catholic community from around the world, the service was a stirring reminder of Fr. Kelly's selfless devotion to the struggle of others.
