ST AUGUSTINE'S Catholic High School in Redditch was among Worcestershire's more impressive performers.

It is ranked in the top 100 schools in England based on a value added measure which charts the progress that pupils make between the ages of 11 and 16.

Principal Yvonne Brennan said of the results: "We are delighted to have our achievements celebrated, but would also like our wider successes recognised."

Also featuring prominently in the national A-Level tables is independent girls school, Holy Trinity, in Kidderminster, which is in the top 100 schools nationally with an average points ...
