In 2004, 1,326 Australia-based nurses were registered to practice in the UK and 2,708 UK-based nurses applied to be registered in Australia--proof, if it were needed--that we may be far apart geographically, but many of us like to cross the globe for a temporary (or permanent) job switch.

What similarities, and differences, will these UK nurses find when they arrive in Australia?
