JACK McConnell has spoken of how, as a boy, he fell in love with the poetry of Robert Burns on Burns night at a village social club. In a Radio 1 programme the First Minister chats about music, his attachment to the bard's work as well as his family memories of Burns Night on the Radio 1 special tomorrow, which also features interpretations of the ploughman poet's work by over 20 bands including Belle and Sebastian, Camera Obscura and The Delgados.
