LONDON -- Julia Stiles has joined the cast of ContentFilm Intl.'s "Burns," a biopic of 19th-century Scottish poet Robert Burns.
Stiles will try on a Scottish accent for the role of Jean Armour, the poet's muse and one true love. Gerard Butler ("Phantom of the Opera") plays Bums. Pic, scheduled to shoot in spring, will be directed by Vadim Jean from a script by Alan Sharp.
Other cast members include Brian Cox, John Hannah, James McAvoy, James Cosmo, Stiles David O'Hara and David Hayman.
