A Special information board to commemorate Scotland's Bard is to be installed in a historic part of Aberdeen.
The so-called interpretation panel, complete with illustrations detailing Robert Burns's visit as part of a Highland tour, will be erected in the Castlegate.
The board, which will cost around pounds2,300, will also feature famous visitors to the historic square such as James VI, Mary Queen of Scots and the author, James Boswell.
It will complement the two existing boards in the Castlegate, located at the end of Union Street.
