Concert celebrates World Music Institute 15th anniversary

An array of musicians from around the world performed to a packed audience
at the Town Hall theater in Manhattan's theater district to celebrate the
15th anniversary of the World Music Institute. The proceeds were to benefit
the institute, which was started by Robert Browning with his wife Helene in
1985. Since then the institute has grown and developed the reputation of
being the premier driving force in bringing international music to the U.S.
audiences - particularly New York's melting pot.
