Each Wednesday evening during July and August, the West Country Historical Society Inc., who own and operate the Bideford Parsonage Museum, invited local residents and tourists to listen to guest speakers and learn more about the life and works of author Lucy Maud Montgomery, particularly during the years 1894-95 when she taught school in this rural community of Bideford, Prince Edward Island.
