Another housekeeper
My mother-in-law, Ethel Currie, was a housekeeper for Lucy Maud Montgomery from 1934 to 1937. She is now 87 years old and moved to Norfolk Manor in Guelph, Ontario, last year. She is a member of Knox Church in Milton where she lived from 1964 until 1999. Ewen MacDonald, Lucy Maud's husband, conducted Ethel's wedding in the MacDonalds' Toronto home in 1937.
Perhaps one of the L. M. Montgomery "followers" will try to arrange for the two housekeepers to get together. Who knows?
