THE Pushkin Prize for children's literature will be chosen next week at a ceremony in Tyrone after over 1,500 entries were received.
Around 100 children will attend the ceremony as finalists at the home of the Duchess of Abercorn, a direct descendant of the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
The Pushkin Prize was established by the Duchess of Abercorn in 1987 "to encourage children to find and express freely their own creative voices."
