Russia's great poet Alexander Pushkin once referred to French as the language of Europe. But more than 150 years later, English has become the continent's lingua franca, and as words like shop, executive and checklist creep further into the language of Gerta(ph) and Schiller, the German Academy is starting to fight back. NPR's Guy Raz reports from Berlin.
